Development of Life Skills

Learning life skills are important for both people with and without disability. No matter the disability the participant has, whether mental or physical, they need to be aware of the basic life skills that are needed in life for their wellbeing and improved lifestyle. With the proper guidance, many participants can develop these life skills and improve their independent living lifestyle.

Diversity Community offers assistance by providing trained support staff who can help participants cultivate the basic life skills and be aware of it. Some of the basic regimes include leading a healthy lifestyle, sexual wellbeing, road safety, budgeting, cooking and cleaning, shopping, travelling, hobbies, maintaining personal hygiene, etc.
